Expectations
- Must be willing to train students underrepresented in the field: diverse racial and ethnic groups, disabled students.
- Must supplement IMSD graduate fellowships up to the standard stipend from non-federal funds
- Must facilitate the student’s efforts to fulfill the IMSD curriculum requirements.
- Begin a career-long habit of learning and improving your mentoring skills.
- Be an exemplar of professional conduct.
- Be an ambassador and recruiter for the IMSD program
